The Journey
SAMPLE TEXT. Nine days that begin before you arrive. The preparation is part of it: what you stop doing in the fortnight beforehand shapes what the the plain can actually reach.
We travel in a group small enough that nobody is anonymous, and slowly enough that the days stop counting themselves.
The Place
SAMPLE TEXT. the plain is not remote for its own sake. It is remote because what happens there needs distance from everything else, and because the people who hold it have chosen not to make it easy to reach.
The People
SAMPLE TEXT. You will meet three or four people whose work does not appear online, and who agreed to this only because of a long relationship. Their names are not on this page for that reason.
The Practices
SAMPLE TEXT. Mornings are structured. Afternoons are not. There is breathwork most days, sometimes at dawn, always optional and always guided.
The Unknown
SAMPLE TEXT. Weather moves the schedule. So does the group. We have never run this the same way twice, and the parts that stay with people are rarely the parts we planned.
Practical
SAMPLE TEXT. Small group. Travel to the meeting point is yours to arrange; everything after it is handled. Full details after a conversation.
This journey may be for you if
- You have not stopped properly in a long time.
- You are curious about what surfaces when nothing is scheduled.
- You can sit with your own company.
This may not be for you if
- You are hoping to be entertained.
- You want a group experience — most of this is alone.
- You are in the middle of something you cannot step away from.
